My wife and I just got the news........Lease price going up and cabin being built. Our family lease, 8 total, just got turned into a coorporate lease. We dont spend money like other couples, drinking/partying/dancing/ etc. just not our cup of tea. We fish hard and hunt hard. We work hard, (police-realtor) and spend our money on our two passions in life. We are mature and responsible hunters. For the past several years we have hunted by the MLD Level 3 rules and understand the management process. We know about sweat equity and always pull our own weight in the year round feeding/cleaning/etc. We live in sugarland area and willing to travel to find a good lease. Thanks for any information and or lease findings....$2500 limit ea. Thanks, Robert 281-914-2775 cell

Did you find a lease yet? We may be looking for an additional person or couple on a small place in Segovia just east of Junction.

I have 180 acres for lease near Eden. Would be perfect for husband wife . There are wheat fields with mesquite. There is a live oak hill too. There are good number of deer and if you hunt hard you could kill a big buck. There are times that the wheat fields are full of deer. I would lease it for $3500 and you can do what you like. Bring a guest now and then. There is room for about 4 feeder stand set ups . Turkeys,Dove and quail also. There was good dove hunting here last year since we leave sunflowers planted in about 2 acres. There is a pond on the place that used to have lots of fish but I haven't fished there lately. The only drawback is that there is no electric or water and it would be hard to camp without messing up the hunting.I have personally shot some good deer here and the neighbors feed protein and manage on most of the properties around.
Never seen 'em grow bigger horns on the ground
