I just traded for a DPMS LR308 and I absolutely love it! The accuracy is out of sight. I was wondering if anyone else is shooting one and what upgrades they have done, mods, etc.

GET OUT AND SHOOT THAT SUCKA!!! I went to wally world and bought some el cheapo $13 a box Federal Powr shok 150gr psp and it shoots .5moa! I am an avid reloader and have gathered up a bunch of components and have just started a load work up. So far first load 43gr Benchmark and a 150gr SMK accuracy is awesome!

HAHA, I got the same ammo from Walmart. What barrell you got ? I got an 18 inch heavy. If the weather is nice I gotta fish and when its bad dont want to go shoot. Of course in Vernon you can just drive out in the country and stick it out the window. Only problem you got is wind. Does it ever stop out there ???

I'm no DPMS expert, but I've fired a few shots. Mine works fine if I do my part keeping it clean. Others aren't so lucky. Do a google search on DPMS jams and keep an eye on the lips of your magazines.

Mine is 24" ss Bull. I have had absolutely zero problems and wouldnt take for mine. It is awesome and He_l NO it doesnt ever stop blowin here! Wish it would sometimes...

I can't wait to hit the range, during the break in process I just had a red dot sight mounted as I knew I wouldn't shoot for groups untill I had properly broke in the barrel.
Well thats done and I just mounted a Millet Tactical Scope on her last night and it looks great.
Next will be a Magpull adjustible rear stock, and trigger job.

DPMS is not my choice for any AR platfrom. I have seen too many fail for me to be comfortable.
