99% are left for the buzzards and yotes. Tired of trying to give them away to "poor" folks who wants them cleaned and packaged.

Only been hunting them once, but we ate all the ones we shot. Had some tonight it is awesome meat. You folks in Texas are lucky to have them (speaking in terms of hunting opportunity). I realize they are hard on the crops, etc. Wish we had them up here.

Depends on the area where the hogs are killed but for the most part I eat what I shoot

we kill em and leave em, too many and not worth the time and energy. They cause thousands of dollars worth of damage every year to our ranch, besides...pork from HEB taste better than and hog.

EAT UM!!!

I, or we (other hunters on our lease) have eaten all but one. He was about a 200 lb rank smellin boar and I had cleaned 3 other smaller hogs before him it was late and I was tired!

I (we) think they are great eating and smoke a whole one for opening days, dove, turkey, deer ect... We eat some kind of hog meat every weekend at the lease.

This is the first year I have ever just killed them and let them lay! I did take two of them to the processor to be made into breakfast sausage but the others are now varmint bait!

There are just too many of them for me to eat, and they are too destructive to let live!

If someone wants it I'll give it away, otherwise they go straight to the "bone yard"

We kill too many to eat them all ourselves, so we are pretty selective on what we take home to eat, mostly limited to sows and younger ones at that. On our place in the hilcountry a couple years ago between me my brother and my dad we procesed 70 pigs of varying sizes and ate them all by the next year, but I was getting tired of pork by then.

I can honestly say i have never left a hog that I have killed laying in the woods.
Even the big boars, as long as they don't have an extremely strong odor I have friends make tamales out of them for me.
Even the big boars make good tamales if the cook knows how to make good tamales!

We do both it depends on the freezer and if I can find anyone who wants it at the time. I will keep just about anything though doesn't matter on size or sex to me.

I clean and keep 4-5 a year for myself. I give several away and the rest I feed to the buzzards and yotes.
