I duck hunt in kaufman county and we don't see many green heads, just mostly widgens and red heads. Would it still be okay to put out green head decoys?

I've killed just about everything over mallards. It won't hurt anything. If you think about it, the mallard hen is the sound most of us are making so it only makes sense to have some in the spread.

My first season all I had were mallards. Killed plenty of birds over them.
