They FN did it again, what idiots, they signed Zeke to a 1 year $3 mil contract.  JJ & Stephen will do anything to sell tickets even though they know it will not help them win one game in the playoffs. Did you notice how Zeke cleaned his act up for the Patriots, haircut and all of that, bet a case of beer by the end of the season he looks like the freaky worthless fricking clown like when he last played for us. I'll be watching just to see what all the players are wearing, free entertainment every draft. Really don’t understand this. Maybe for the minimum of 1.2 million. He's only guaranteed $2M. The other $1M is incentive based and if he hits the numbers he'll of actually earned it performance wise. Zeke could have got a similar deal from several teams to be a backup, so in this case Jerry didn't overpay. But... I think they could have gotten better production from a 3rd or 4th round draft pick for a lot less money, so there's the screw up. Several quality RB's fell to the 4th round but the Cowboy's wouldn't trade up to go get one.

It'd be one thing if there was a real running by committee type situation. This probably has to be the worst RB room in the entire league. Dowdle is now a veteran and has run for under 500 yards in his career. Only ran for 500 yards as a Sr. in college. He is NOT an every down back. Deuce Vaughn is just a feel good story with 40 yards rushing in 2023. Royce Freeman has a total of 600 yards and 2 touchdowns over the last 4 seasons. Looking at these spare parts, Zeke is probably better than all of them. And that's where the problem lies. Jerry and Stephen are absolute fools if they think 2016 Zeke is going to show up in 2024. They make it hard for me to root for this team going forward.

I still think Cowboys messed up by not getting Derek Henry for 2 years. He had 1100 yards last year and is a good blocker. Ravens gave him 8 million signing bonus, lowering his cap hit.
Zeke is not the answer. You can get solid RBs in 3rd and 4th round every year. More mismanagement.
Zekes here to hang out with Dak and go to Nick n Sam’s 3 times a week.
