My less than a year old 600# Mighty Buck feeder is spinning but not throwing corn. I’ve been told it’s a loose set screw but don’t know where it’s located. Inside? Below on the spinner? Can’t find documentation anywhere. Thanks in advance.

Don’t have a mighty buck but most feeders have a set screw on the feeder plate that slides up and down the feeder motor shaft. If this comes loose the motor spins but the plate stays put.

Take Care,
Bub

Bubray is right. It’s usually a small Allen screw where the spinner plate attaches to the motor shaft.

agree, usually on the base of the spinner plate. Some are flat or phillips head, others might be set screw needing an allen wrench. I have had them get loose and even come out never to be found again. carry one of these set screw kits in your tool box along with allen wrenches.set screw kit

Thank you for the responses. It’s a Phillips head screw and there’s an access hole on the spinner housing. Turns out I had a clog and not a set screw issue.
