Thinking of having my kid build a 8' wide x 12' long box blind mounted on a trailer or a wagon. Wanting something that can be moved around, stable, have a stair case up to it from the ground, but also weather proof.

Anyone have good pictures?

I like the idea of mobility and have several on wheels. I would never want one anywhere close to that big though. If you are entertaining I guess its ok but very hard to see out of and shoot out of to hunt effectively.

Not a deer blind, but we built an 8' X 24' duck blind on an old hay wagon we bought off craig's list. We did this so we would have a mobile blind to move around wetlands we built until we determined just how the ducks would use the wetlands before we spent the money to build a permanent blind. We have jacks on the four corners of the blind to give it stability and to also remove it from the trailer to save the axles/hubs when we flood the wetland. Should be pretty easy to do for a deer blind. There's a DIY Deer Blind page on Facebook with a lot of guys gutting old travel trailers and making mobile blinds.

I repurposed an old Dilley boat trailer and mounted my 5x6 fiberglass blind on it.

If you don't need it elevated, don't rule out converting an old camper into a stand.

I have a 4x6 on an 8 foot trailer. Just a basic box with a door and hinged windows. One thing I learned really quick was to put leveling jacks on all 4 corners and get the trailer weight onto them or the trailer will rock in the wind.

I’d love to have one to move around the ranch
