Hundreds of birds. Mostly wigeons, mallards, and pintails. This makes it difficult shooting. Some gw teal and gadwalls. Birds flew in groups up to 50. Large groups decoyed for a long time then usually flew away. Smaller groups circled two times or less before coming in. Singles just dropped in on us.

We are hunting a stock pond that is flooded into a field and woods. We have hunted it three times this year and could have easily shot our limit every time if we were better shots. We have tried changing chokes, but when there is a big flock of birds, we just freak out and miss everything. Most birds we take are the singles and doubles.

You need any help when the season opens back up, just let me know. Grew up spending summers in Gustine on my Great-Aunt's farm. Been going back there for many years.

Well stinkbelly, looks like I better start shooting better or I will loose my spot.
