I'm off to the vet with Zeke. Woke up at 1 AM with him yelping like he was dying. Took a few minutes but determined it is his right front leg. Appears to be broken at the ankle maybe?? No clue how in the world he managed that.

Good luck, hope it works out easy. Had the same thing happen late August. Dog was in extreme pain and I could not figure out what the heck was wrong. Scared the heck out of me. Ended up at the E Vet at 0200. Vet said he had torn his left ACL and gave him a pain shot so he could rest. Went back to the surgeon the following day and they determined it was just a sprain thank goodness.

Figured out he had injured it probably rough housing with the other dog.

DARN SURE HOPE HE IS OK. I HATE HAVING MY LAB HURT!!!

Good news! Just a sever sprain.

Bad news! No training, no horseing around, running/jumping for 3-4 weeks. How the heck you keep a 5 month old lab from doin that????

Good new! Total was only $172 for two X-rays, pain shot, sedative and reversal, prescription, 4 set of shots including rabies and a microchip.
