I got to hold the new Ruger LCR the other day and it was actually bigger than what I tought it should be. I am not sure if it is just me that thinks that but...I believe the Taurus revolvers are smaller-framed. Neat gun but a tad to big for me to carry in my pocket-

I have the S&W 637 and like it. Others don't care for the exposed hammer, but it has never been a problem for me carrying in a pants pocket.

S&W 360PD with CT grips and Buff Bore 158gr tactical low recoil/flash ammo - reason for carry?? Lightweight, way easier to conceal in almost every dress code situation (IMHO), and power in small package. Carry is in one of two DM Bullard's holsters, a cross draw or a strong side; a Desantis pocket holster; or an El Paso Saddle strong side with snap - extra ammo is in either a speed strip or a pick two box from El Paso Saddle. I went back to a revolver after having semi-autos for years because of a debilitating joint disease (similar to arthritis) - but I can still handle a revolver OK. Sure the little scandium is a hand smacker - but it doesn't seem to affect me as much as some folks have reported. Besides, I don't use it at the range except to burn off old (6 mo) defensive ammo and to remind myself of what the recoil is like. There are plenty of cheap steel revolvers for that all important range practice time.

This is the one I got for my mom to carry and have been really impressed with it. It is the Taurus Ultralite Titanium with the ported barrel.

S&W 642 or 442. Anything lighter you'll never shoot enough to get good, and Taurus has enough QC troubles I will not trust one with my life (in pistols......their .22 rifles are fine).
The LCR looks interesting, haven't shot one yet.

This S&W Det. Spl. in .38spl has never been fired as far as I know. I have been selling a few of my guns to buy others that I seem to need. $275 FTF I live in Dallas.
