i sat up close to a horse trail where it divides the thicket and the tall oak trees. On a evening hunt tuesday around 6 o'clock out comes this HUGE DEER im talking close to 200lbs from my POV he looked to be about a 8 or 10 pointer. directly following is a small fork horn 6. they stayed right along the thicket about 40 yards and it was too bushy to shoot an arrow through. i tried grunting but i think it scared them off deeper into the thicket. this is only my second time there and already i seen a lot of deer. how can i get them to come in range without me getting in to close to the thicket? Bait? doe urine?
