This buck was taken this past Friday in Kaufman county, around Prairieville by the local Game Warden. I got the pic sent to my cell, and it was taken with a cell phone. Sources tell me that the buck has been scored by 2 or more people at 204+". They're saying it is likely some kind or record. This buck was taken on a low fence property I hear. Not a high fence buck.

Neat that someone who has so much time invested in protecting our critters gets to bag one for himself. Great buck!

The stories seem to somewhat corroborate what I was told, except for the score. I was told when he got out of the stand, he just left the woods without even looking for the buck. He wanted to give it PLENTY of time. He came back later with a friend, whom is a mutual friend of his and the fella that sent me the pic. They then found the buck.

However it went, most of us could only dream of a dear like that. But it does go to show, they can come from anywhere.

I used to hunt Kaufman county and killed several real nice bucks.But not any thing like this one.
