My ex-mother in law lives in Southlake on about 35 acres. A few years back the media was reporting the sightings of a "mountain lion and kittens" near the golf course. I was standing in her den one afternoon and looked out the back door which faces the direction of the golf course. there was a mama bobcat and 2 kittens in her backyard. I slipped out a side door and started squeeling on the back of my hand and they all 3 came a running like I had a can of little friskeys in my hand. They sat down about 15 yards and just looked my direction until they figured out I wasnt a wounded rabbit (or someones little "fluffy") then they all turned and trotted off. There was no way in heck I was gonna kill these cats! They were providing to much media entertainment caused by a bunch of city idiots not knowing the difference between a bobcat and a mountain lion. I figured they were also providing a service of reducing the poodle and house cat population too!!

I work at a kwik kar in southlake, There is a heavly wooded area next door to the shop, I have seen pleanty of hogs and bobcats moving thru this spot. I am seriously bringing my bow and going out there for my lunch break.
