I was wondering what kind of deer are in the county. Is there better spots. Have a budy who hunts there and might have a open spot next year. Ive had bad experiances in east texas so i would like yalls help on the deer population.

We hunted one of Temple Inlands lease properties south of Palestine just outside of Elkhart. Other than the oil guys who worked the property ALWAYS drilling on friggin opening weekend and the local POS trash stealing our blinds/feeders etc the hunting was OK at best.
