I love Campisi's pizza, but my wife and I just ate at Grimadli's in Allen and was blown away. Mighty tasty. Best pizza I have eaten outside of NYC.

A place on IH20 in Clyde, best pizza in the Big Country.

Sounds like ya'll are starting a "Biggest Gainers" club. I gained two pounds just reading this.

I figure the best pizza that you can eat is about 1,000 calories a slice.

bj's brewhouse in lewisville very good pizza.. i like deep dish

i had a very good friend that was in Texas Childrens Hospital in houston back in 1989 with cancer and she along with my future wife and i ordered hamburger pizzas from dominos and they were so good. i think to this day those were the best pizzas i have ever had and they were also the last meal i ever had with my good friend. so everytime i eat pizza which isnt all that often i compare it to those.


hope i didnt bring down the tone of this thread. its been over 20 years now and i have never shared this story with anyone until now, but i think about it each and every time i eat pizza.

My wife and I took a previous posters' suggestion and went to Grimaldi's in Allen just to give it a chance to compete with Nikkis in Murphy. (Nikkis has a different stuffed pizza that is out of this world) Grimaldis was awesome. The atmosphere was great (TX/OU week?) and the flavor of the brick-oven baked pizza was delicious.

Dang, all this fancy pizza talk and we are stuck with Pizza Pro here in our "One Horse Town".

Pizza Place in Weatherford is pretty awesome too.

The best for the money is Sam's Deli, Meat Lover's, 8.88


Little place in Sherman called Cellarman's Pub makes their own brick oven pizza's, really like the Southwestern there too...

I have a place at the entrance of my neighborhood called Maui Brother's. The guy that started Maui Brothers came to the suburbs from Star Pizza near downtown. It's not cheap, but it's the real deal.

Campisi's is the best...Been going there for over 40 years...Have had nothing but Pizza,every time

Poppa Rollo's Pizza in Waco is the best pizza in Texas, and has been for about 30 years. Ask for 'the Works', and don't forget to check out the speakeasy bar on the other side of the trap door.

The best pizza I have ever had was not in TX, but in NJ. But for the best I've had in TX, it would have to be Gozzetti's in The Woodlands, just North of Houston. I tried their pizza for the first time on Saturday, it was really good and made like NY style pizza.

Cafe Excel in College Station has good pizza. Its oven baked. Its alittle fancy but good.

Going through Longview Pizza King is required eating.

Domenic's(sp?) or Saccones in the Cedar Park area.

BJ's Pizza in Downtown Mingus Tx!!!

There is also a pizza place there on McCann Rd. that is pretty awesome too but I can't think of the name of it. Right there close to where The Levee and Whiskey River use to be.
