For those of you who have "been there - done that" with ankle holsters...I need your advice. I want to carry a Bersa 380 on my ankle and want to know who makes the best product, most comfortable, tips & tricks, etc. I've done a lot of open carry but am new to concealment. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

Carrying a pistol on your ankle look's just like your carrying a pistol on your ankle, it stick's out like a sore thumb and is incredibly uncomfortable. Why would you want to carry a pistol in the one place that's without a doubt the hardest to get to? There are better places!
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

I've tried both a S&W airweight, and a Kel-Tec.320 on my ankle. I found it to be uncomfortable. I got an Uncle Mikes holster made for carrying in the front pants pocket. MUCH more comfortable.

I did that for awhile when I was working. Take Hwy Man's advice, it ain't worth it. If you need it in a hurry good luck. There are much better alternatives. Even an "inside the waistband" holster is quicker. If you wear your shirts loose look into SOB holsters, that's small of the back. Had a Para ordance P-12 I carried in one of those. You adjust to it even driving.
If I need a holster in a car, I have a cross draw, that is much easier to get to than strong side especially wearing a seat belt.

...Why would you want to carry a pistol in the one place that's without a doubt the hardest to get to? There are better places! Ditto - one hand defend is hard enough, kneeling or bending over (or bringing knee up while lying on your back and fighting) to get to your carry piece is not going to make your day if an attacker is close. On the other hand - if the ankle carry is your New York reload, and you have cover, then go for it.
Only at the end do you realize the power of the Dark Side.

Though uncomfortable, there is one use for the ancle holster. That is for use with a back-up tiny last ditch weapon that may be used if you main carry has been koncked out of your hand or you have run dry of ammo the the primary. Any firearm that is small enough to be used in an ancle holster is not the best choice for a primary defense weapon anyway. I carry a Kimber Pro Carry II in an IWB holster and some times carry a small 22 Mag two shot derringer in a pocket holster for a last ditch close in weapon. However the 45 is full, and I carry a spaer magazine full on my belt in a closed knife holder so the magazine cand be seen. I think the fight will be over, one way or the other, before I run dry in the 45! You never know however when you may be blind sided, and disarmed of you primary, then the little back-up is far better than a prayer! Most perps don't believe in prayer!
