can you use a rifle scope on a muzzleloader or must the scope be rated for a muzzleloader. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

you can use any scope designed for a center fire rifle, but don't try one that is made for a 22!

Yes you can use one! For example, I am using a Pentax 3-9X50 Gameseeker on my .50cal!
