I saw a real nice one on my buddies place in east tx. Hopefully I'll have some pics of him in the back of the truck soon. One of us will get him if I can get him to get serious and do some huntin this yr.

Does anyone else get the feeling that CURLY hates the AR rules? think so, Who, me? curly just tell them the truth... is a trick... He is trying to conceal the fact that he has 160's right and left. I guess you could call it an east tx road hunter diversion

And with antlerless deer being legal in some counties from the start of the general season through the Thanksgiving holiday, it's going to sound like WWIII around day break on opening day.

I would have to.. we usually have atleast 1 chance at the bucks we see on cams at some point during season. I've been in that bind of seeing a nice one and letting him walk so I can shop around never to see anything better over the course of a season.

the bad part was it happend to me twice last season. once at the lease and once at my buddies place in llano. im pretty sure the one i passed on at the lease was a ten. i had a guy that hunts a spot next to mine watch a ten for over an hour a couple days after that. he haad already taken a buck and had no choice but to just watch him. then i had a nice buck in llano come out to the feeder and keep on walking past it never to stop. when he got near a fence line i had him in the crosshairs with the safety off but he just wouldnt slow down, he was moving along pretty good and i just didnt feel comfortable with the shot. he was a good 8 with a kicker on his g2. i did end up shooting a little cull buck that weekend but not the good one i had a chance at.

I live in a county that is just starting antler resrictions this year. I think it's a good idea with one exception. I think there should be no restrictions for anyone under 16.
