This is the way I have felt this last weekend. Last week I saw deer everywhere and then this weekend into today...nothing. Even driving around I havent seen any. Ran into a few guys hunting on Saturday and they said the same. Could the weather be affecting them that much? Is the moon wrong? Are they reacting to hunting pressures? WHAT IS THE DEAL? Anyone else having any troubles like mine? And in what counties...
If we aren't supposed to eat the animals, then why did God make them out of meat?

the bucks are not moving...plenty of doe and fawn ....the most twins we have ever seen

the bucks are not moving...plenty of doe and fawn ....the most twins we have ever seen Yep, that's all I've seen, does and twins. However, the buck sign is there.. they'll be out eventually.

I have the last week of October off for vacation...so I am not being negative yet...just suprised that they are laying low with these cooler temps

Saw 2 mature bucks today bedded down together in the edge of the woods by a field.

oh yeah meant to say that we have been seeing more twins as well and I think its due to the rains in the previous 2 years

you guys have a big acorn crop like the rest of us??? most of our deer are layed up and gettin fat on tree candy! theyll be hittin the feeders again in about a week or two, be patient!

I have had bucks constantly at my feeders since august but no doe's will that be a problem when the rut arrives. Last year i had Doe's and not any bucks on camera.

I was hunting in the Hill Country all weekend... We where having the same problem on the Game Cameras all bucks no does. Well once I set in the blind I figured out the problem the bucks aren't letting the does into the feeders they are there just not getting into the feeders.

5 bucks and 20+ does at feeder this past weekend just North of San Saba 2 bucks were shooters
