A good friend of mine is looking to fill some management hunts on a buddy of his ranch near Tilden. It is supposed to be a very, very nice operation and I do not believe the owner has done any paid hunts since he's owned the property. It is 2,600 acres high-fenced with nice facilities.

They've lowered the price several hundred dollars for this hunt and are looking to book several. The hunt will include a management deer up to and possibly slightly over 140". This could be a big 8 or an old 9 or even 10 point. I've seen pictures of a couple of brutes including one 8 that will certainly bust 140. I've also seen a huge 6 point without any browtines and a big old 7 point that I would be tickled pink to shoot!

The hunts are going to be 2 nights and 3 days. In other words if you arrive on a Friday afternoon you'll hunt Friday evening, Saturday morning and evening, and Sunday Morning. Cost is $1,800 per person. You will have a guide who will field dress your deer and quarter it up for you. It includes your meals as well. If anyone is interested, please PM me and I'll hook you up with the contact.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Bump to the top.

I just spoke with my buddy and since hunts are not being sold like the owner had wanted, they've dropped the price to $1,500 /ea for parties of 3 or more.

Sign her up jgiles! Talking with my buddy he says this ranch is very, very nice! And I can vouch for the pictures I've seen that there are some really big management bucks that need to be taken.

I believe that if they do not sell the hunts for this price they will shoot them all themselves simply because by the time you pay for food, drink, a cook, and guides........you are not making much $$$!

If he was set up for bow hunting I'd have already booked at least one for me and probably another for my boy!
