I am considering getting a new arrow rest. Does anyone have an opinion on the Whisker Biscuit arrow rest? Positives vs. Negatives

There is nothing wrong with the WB in my opinion. I use one and happy with it. Go with large diameter hole, cuts down on friction. Does it cut down on some speed, yes, but I am not a speed nut. It is not mechanical, just plain and simple. Try the 2" blazers on your arrows, even better.

I had a WB and didn't really like it. I know that different people have had different experiences with them, but in my case, the WB damaged my flecthing. The blazers mentioned before might not tear up, but my 4" vanes did. I went to a N.A.P. drop away. I've been very satisfied with it. There is no contact with the arrow and the rest after the shot's been fired and seems to be a little more consistent. I too am no speed nut so I have no problems as far as that goes with either one. I've also seen a rest that is like the WB but instead of wiskers, it has a magnetic charge so when your tip comes into contact with it it is perfectly centered. Other than that, I don't know anything else about it. It would seem to me that you'd have problems as the magnetic field weakens. Just throwin it out there though.

Hope you find something that works good for you.

I like it but it will warp your fletching after a while if you have 4". I haven't tried the blazers but they may be the ticket....

I'm with dgilbert on this one. I been shooting a w/b for a long time. I have zero complaints from them. Sure they are not too easy on 4" vanes but I recently switched to the 2" Blazers. I'm goin Saturday mornin to buy a new Matthews Switchback and there will be a w/b on it.

WB FOR ME ALL THE WAY. PUT ONE ON ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO AND WOULD NT TRADE IT. DEFINTELY GO WITH THE 2 INCH BLAZERS IF YOU DECIDE TO GET ONE. YOU WILL NOTICE A DIFFERENCE.

got rid of my W.B. last night, got a drop away that holds the arrow just the same as the biscuit did until I let her fly then it all drops away.... I'll never go back!

They work, but in my opinion, I think the less contact that you have with your arrow, the better. I use a Trophy Taker, and I doubt I'll be switching anytime soon.

Great rest for hanging upside down out of your tree stand and shooting that buck that just walked under it. LOL

I've never used one. I've seen mixed reviews from every rest on the market. One thing is for sure; if you try the WB and don't like it, you not out an a$$load of money. The drop away's can get pretty pricey on the other hand. I say try the WB.
And I shoot off a trap door rest.

Is it OK to buy the WBiscuit with the larger hole even if I'm shooting small or medium arrows?

I use the one for aluminum arrows for my carbon arrows, so there is plenty of room. Now, I have switched mine out a couple of times due to so many shots going thru it. There is a knock on every type of rest, but I have not had a problem with the WB at all. I have only torn two fletching off two arrows and I go thru about a dozen a year.

Please forgive me I have sin. I made the big jump from a WB to a Vital gear drop away . I said I would never do it, I don't axactly what came over me. O' yes I do, HunterTed made me do it . I am still playing with it, I will let you know what I think later. Mechanical scare the hell out of me, and this thing has alot of moving parts.
