title says it all

only saw 3 fawns and 4 does but its great to be in a tree again o and the fawns still have their spots! so cool to watch at 5-10 yards

im heading at noon to catch the evening hunt. ill be back with the report.

no shooters for me best was a 120" 3 1/2 year old 8.. couple smaller bucks and 3 does be back out this evening though

Two small bucks and tons of does.....wouldn't get close enough.

we (fortrax, cornhusker, cbump and I) me 2 does - let'm walk, 4trx doe and twin fawns - let'm walk, cbump - does and nice buck...no shot, cornhusker got skunked....moon was bad evening hunt should be better and I got to go to my wife's 10 yr HS reuinon ......be back out in the morn,,, the rest of the fools will get to go tonight!

I saw a doe for about 2 seconds as she jumped across the trail. It is great to be out again. Trying again this evening.

I saw 2 does and a young 6pt.... and the does ran the 6pt off the corn pile. A&M plays this evening so I'll give it a go again tomorrow. FLOOOODED this mo'nin'!


Oh yeah. My first kill of the season was a scorpion that I found in my blind. I felt it was okay to kill it before legal shooting hours.

saw a young spike early and 2 does later in the morning and then the wind just about blew me out of the stand at around 10:30 so I packed up and came home for lunch...headin back out after 4 or 5...good luck to all

saw 3 does and shot a hog but didn't find it. i was walking down a trail in some thick stuff and turned the corner and there they were, coming right towards me at 10 yards. I threw the bow up and shot the biggest one right in the chest. It was a low percentage shot but i didn't want those dang things any closer to me since i only had my bow.

Any of y'all starting to get rain?

I shot a doe this morning. It is been about 6 or 7 years since I shot my last one.

A doe is better than no meat in the frezer. I am sure it feels good to get past the dry spell!

Been raining in Burleson County since 12:45, not going out this evening. Nothing moving. Now if it was 20` cooler that would be different.
I did see a doe and a fawn with spots this morning, I passed. When there is a big storm coming it seems the woods are so still, not even the squirrels weren't out this morning, but it was nice to be back in a tree!

Rained its butt off in Wilson county this morning. Only saw 1 doe and my dad was on the other side of the property with a rifle on hog watch. He drilled two, a large sow and small boar.

In my blind this morning 2 Doe and one small buck in sight but never came to the feeder. After the hunt wind kicked up and the radio warned me of alot of rain, so I just packed up and went home.... Look at mext Sun weather low 51 high 71!!!! I sure hope someone had better luck than me......

Saw 4 does and lots of squirles. Raining to hard for me to get back in the tree tonight. Started around 3:00 in Alto

Nothing this morning, but was to be expected. I've sat on this stand 3 times in the morning the past 2 weeks and haven't seen anything. However, I always see stuff in the afternoon, only doe so far.

But, got to my spot this afternoon and had 5 horses standing at my feeder pen... Had to chase them off. 1.5 hrs later I had two doe come in and wind me or the horses.. not sure which. Either way they didn't come to the feeder or within rang of my bow..

Was a nice steady rain the entire time too.. along with 4000 mosquitos.

Went on my 1st ever bowhunt this afternoon....and it didn't turn out so great. Had about 20 hogs come in at about 15 yards, stuck one that weighed about 60 pounds, looked like a great shot, found my arrow and it was covered in blood. As soon as I started following the blood trail, it started pouring rain. It had been raining a little off and on since about 3:00 p.m., this was about 6:00 p.m. Lost the trail after about 50 yards and kept circling and got soaking arse wet but never found my pig....

Heck that aint bad Ryan. At least you hit it.
