Okay Boys lets SEE what you got!!!!! Here is the skinny: Water Fowl Calling Contest - Fort Worth Challenge
"Calling all Callers". Cabela's Fort Worth invites you to show off your calling skills and win awards and prizes in the Team Real Duck Water Fowl calling contest. Individual or team entries compete in the following categories Open Team Canada Goose, Open Canada Goose, Open Duck, Open Team Real Duck, Open Real Duck, Open Team Meat Duck, Open Meat Duck and Best Overall Duck Caller. For more information email tracy.doty@cabelas.com or call 817/337-2400.
Registration, 8:00 a.m.; Competition, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Location: Registration - Outside Front Entrance of Store, Competition Stage- African Diorama Lobby Lower Level Right Side of Store I will be there... I will probably enter just about all the duck calling contests...I have KellyGunnar I will be teamin' up with on a couple along with another pro staffer from Oklahoma that is coming down for the event!  Hope to see some of ya'll there!  J.J. BTW, I will have a table set up with some Buck Gardner calls and I have gotten some of the "new" calls in if you want to try them out!

Good to see a few of ya'll up there... Was good to see Allen Morehouse (TXPH)...(said he was kicked off THF)  Anyways... KellyGunnar and I took 1st in Team Real duck, and Kelly and I got 2nd place in Team Canada Goose, I took 2nd in Open Meat, and James Pitts and I got 2nd in Team Meat duck Had a good time J.J. ATF issued a ruling on 1/12/09 that states:
"Any person who is engaged in the business of camouflaging or engraving firearms as described in this ruling must be licensed as a dealer, which includes a gunsmith, under the Gun Control Act."

Guys, this event was geared for all the regular hunters so that they could have an event for you to compete in. Next year we want to see a better turnout and we can turn it into a THF meet.
