I dont trust TP&W any more and thier antler restictons is just icing on the cake if you ask me!

I use to be a big fan of TP&W, but not anymore!

The Hatchery is close to being completed, but, TPWD didn't steal any money from the public, the Legislators took that money and didn't give it to TPWD, but made TPWD come up with the money again to fund the hatchery. If you want to get upset, get upset at your legislatures.

Well is that fee for the fresh water stamp going to go away after the hatchery is completed? popcorn I bet it dont!

I started working at Academy and print out hunting licence. People ask me questions all the time like I am the TP&W..I just tell them I have no clue and hand them a booklet and show them where they can look and then they get pissy.

you aren't giving them the booklet correctly... should roll it up and instruct them to turn around for proper placement.

I lost faith in TPW when the lifetime hunting license went up 80% in one year, I would like to have one, I have one for Oklahoma and I put off getting one for Texas because I cant afford to deer hunt in this state....where I was born and have lived 99.99999% of my life.

Fees i think will be implemented in the future

Fire arm use stamp-After all they charge for archery

Lead use surcharge- for using lead shot and bullets

Special deer stand registration-you will have to put a license plate on every deer blind and keep up registraion and insurance.

Might sound funny but just wait and see

You are probably right on some of the fees they might come up with. I'll just start parking old cars out in the pasture for stands.....

It was my understanding that if a land owner considers hogs a destructive animal then it is their right to remove the animals from their property and you dont need a licenses. Is that true???

I think it's more like HE (the land owner) doesn't need a license. You might get away with it by being considered an agent of the land owner.... it's easier just to go buy a license plus it benifits Texas hunting.

Just curious is your Oklahoma lifetime a NR Lifetime? That's only good as a general hunting license you'd still have to buy a deer tag which you don't need a hunting lic for anyway.?
