Where are you hunting? Those of us that live in West TX have a different opinion of where it starts.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

clap clapThere is 250 mile of Texas west of Odessa!

Midland, and Odessa are just barely inside the west Texas 1/4 of the state.

That's alright people in Fort Worth Think anything west of Fort Worth is West Texas! I've even heard people call Abilene west Texas when it is only about 20 miles west of a line right down the center of Texas north to south, and the people in the D/FW area say they are North Texas. when they are actually North east Texas. and Amarillo is north Texas. The western 1/4 of Texas starts at Big Spring, Texas, and the first city of any size in West Texas is Midland, and El Paso is as far west as you can go in Texas. Half way between the towns of Bangs, Texas, and Santa Anna, Texas is almost the geografic center of Texas, North to South, and east to West.

The ranch where I was born is a place where you can't get deeper in the Heart of Texas without digging a hole. South East Coleman county , Texas. It is the same distance from the louisiana border, as it is to the western border at El Paso. However it's all good! clap
