Just got back from a great trip with West Texas Hunting Org with Mike McKinny and Carroll. The trip overall was a great time and ranks up in my top two trips of all time for the general hunt, the guides, and the food; even over my trip to New Zealand. It was semi roughing it in a tent camp, but the camp was set up nicely and the cooking was just as good as I have received anywhere.

The hunt started off spotting two huge heard right off the bat and then we started the climb. It was a serious sheep hunters paradise with a great climb in the AM getting up to the rim rock by mid day. After a short wait and some traversing across the mountain, we ran into a great trophy ram that measures over 28 and I took him on the first day! I would say total we saw over 20 rams at this mark with multiple rams pushing 35" inches. I will definitely be back after a bigger one, but this one works just fine for me!
