got some pictures back from my lease out near paducah. I know its not exactly around noodle but kind of close. Big deer! One around 200. Not kidding. There is going to be some horn mass due to all the lush vegitation all the rain has provided.

we seen several deer at our lease in rotan, to the west of you but the bucks looked good and the does are looking better after the rains finally came. the bird population looks low are we just have not seen as many as last year, but were on the river so they will be around.

Here are some game photos from a place we have listed out at McCaulley. It's kinda in that general area: http://www.ekdahlrealestate.net/Royston365RanchGame.aspx

I live north of Abilene, a little bit past noodle.

Best deer hunting in this area is between HWY 180 and Noodle. My boss killed a non-typical 16 point that way last year on the last day of deer season. I swear to God I would never have guessed there were bucks like that in my back yard.

But I have seen numerous 10's taken in that area. Also the good thing about hunting around Noodle is that we are a 2 buck county this year.

That's not my place. It's just one of our listings. I WISH it was my place though.

we hunt on a ranch north of noodle and have seen some very nice deer over the last few years. I have heard an urban legend that these deer are descendants of south texas deer (Grey deer) that were brought to the region in the 60's... Anybody ever heard this?

Most of the whitetails in the region are descended from King Ranch transplants.

We hunt about 2 miles inside the Fisher county line about 10-12 mi. from Noodle and there are some monsters out there.

most of the good deer seem to be about 10 east/west of noodle and North to 180... we'll see what next year produces....

I have found that to be a great all around hunting area. Good dear, good bobwhites, decent dove hunting, and pigs year round. If we can just keep the windmills out!
