I recently got on a lease around the Brownwood/Early area and wanted to see if any of you had pics. of deer taken on or around the area?

The Pecan Bayou runs along our west border and we have pics of some really good bucks, but I wanted to see or hear about what you are seeing if you hunt in that area. Also, during the rut how often would you say you typically saw different bucks?

Thanks,

\m/

All depends on what part of the county you are hunting in.

If you hunt near the road (I can't think of the #. The one that the Amory and the Prison are on) That's a good area. I go thru there on the way to my lease. We've seen some fairly decent bucks there. In the 120-130 range.

Anywhere on the bayou is gonna have above average deer on it, and you should see alot of them too.

All I can say is stay put. I'm jealous. grin You're going to see great numbers and good quality in that area.

If you can't shoot at least you can fish.
