I have used them 3 times. Personaly I have never had a problem, but have heard from more than a few that felt like they were shorted on meat. But most people dont realize just how much meat you actually get from 1 processed Texas whitetail. Not nearly as much as most people think.

I will get you the phone numbers. They will be open for archery season.I dont want to get in a heated discussion about how much meat someone gets back. I have worked at or ran a deer processing plant for the last 17 years. There is a chart about what the average whitetail deer will yeald.I dont remember all the weights but a 100# field dressed deer will yeild about 34# of packaged meat. This doesnot allow for loss of shot up meat caused by poor shot placement or improper bullets.I have skinned about 200 deer a year and it all looks diffent when the hide is off.As for weights of deer most local bucks are less than 120#. The largest one I ever weighted was 159#. Good hunting!

Darrell, figure 1/3 of the weight of a field dressed deer is what you will get, in boned meat.
