If you hunt around the Cisco/Eastland area and have a new guy on your lease please read.

Wanted to give everyone a warning in this area to be on the look out for a guy that drives a lifted maroon F250 King Ranch, 31 dark hair and maybe hunting with a "guy from work" or father. He will talk about all his grand adventures and hunting in Mexico.

He has been kicked off 3 leases in the past 5 years for shooting over his limit, hunting other peoples blinds without permission, taking guests mid-week when guest are not allowed, trashing the place with beer cans (drinks coors light like a fish), spotlighting, cutting locks (he did not pay and lock was changed) and doing donuts in farmer's fields while drunk. I can provide you with land owner names and guys he leased with for you to verify my story.

This guy is a smooth talker and works in gas/oil commodities.

If you think this guy is on your lease PM me with his name so I can verify it's the right guy and I will get you a picture and numbers to back up what I have stated above.

Like I said, just wanted to give everyone a warning so he does not screw up your place.

These are the kind that you wonder if they'll ever change??? And what is it about them that they want to make everybodys life miserable? Makes you wonder what their parents were like!! Sorry you had to go through that!! scratch

Our lease in Cisco is full and no one like that, but thanks for the heads up.
Hopefully he will not find a place at all. Hunters have enough things working aganist them without people like that.

You can't fix stupid but you can numb it with a 2x4

If that guy did all that, then why hasn't he been turned into the GW?

Not doubting your word, but the guy should have had his license taken away and fined for those stunts, and it just puzzles me that nobody reported him for breaking the law, and now instead he will ruin someones elses hunt because he was allowed a free pass.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

He was turned into the Sheriff's office in Eastland county for shooting the lock and tearing up the field. I believe all that happened was a slap on the hand and reperatoins (sp) to the land owner for the field. He claimed "the lock broke when he leaned against the gate".

I am wondering the same thing.
Guess there's too many folks that think it's wrong or none of their business to inform the authorities when faced with situations like this.

I was on the lease where the lock was cut and we tried getting the game warden involved but had better luck with the sheriff since he was already off the property.

I hog hunt and predator hunt a place between Ranger and Breckenridge where he had a lease with mutual friends. The landowner caught him spotlighting with a group of guests and was asked to leave. I wish the GW would have been called then.

Over the years, we have had some bad apples on our lease. We (the hunters) just vote them off. If they refuse, we tell the rancher our concerns and he kicks them off.

We have had bad apples on our lease and we weeded them out. Told some they weren't invited back and some that we lost the least and you need to get everything of by the end of the month.

Our lease manager had to kick off one of his relatives because he was an IDIOT. Shows up no beer, no sheels during dove season no cigs. We voted him off the island.

This type always makes life miserable for everyone else. They are short sighted and selfish and should not be allowed to hunt period.

How sorry is that? Can't just man up and tell them the truth or what?
