It is a one buck county that is not under antler regs and does can only be taken by permit unless you are bowhunting. Depending on how you hunt and what you are after, you could take up to 3 deer(1 buck/2 antlerless) during archery season , or 1 buck during general season. Not sure what the deer herd is like down there, I suspect it is of a fairly low density. JMO

I know many of them. I am also a firefighter in Huntsville, so we meet up with them quite often. I know alot of the new ones.

what's the nearest town to the place you're looking at. If I'm remembering correctly falls county is on the 35 corridor between waco and temple. If that is correct the west side of 35 is usually better habitat with higher population numbers due to it being on the side of the hill country where the other side of the balconies fault which is basically 35 is blackland prairie.
