can you tell me about the original Savage Model 10?

i am trading for a Savage Model 10, and according to the guy, there are no letters behind the 10 (such as FP), so i'm thinking it's the original version. It has a 24" bull barrel, to lugs in the front for mounting a bipod etc, and looks like the pic below...

I believe it was the orginal verison when they made the 110 the Long Action and the 10 as the Short Action.

the model 10 is the youth version that they no longer make. I bought mine about 4 years ago as a truck gun. I love it but they no longer make them. They are great guns.

i don't think this is a youth version. It's VERY heavy... 24" heavy barrel. It is actually identical to the 10fp except that it doesn't have an accutrigger.
the LOP is the same as the 10fp (exact same boat)

mine is very heavy also but the box that it came in says youth version.
