Not home/auto, but we do have a policy on our ranchito... about $160/yr. No claims but completely satisfied with the service from the county office.

East Tx member for quite awhile. Home & Auto.

Yearly dues for membership, premium increases like the rest.
Claims - when needed - are handled pretty easy, Local agency has always been helpful with the exception of the adjuster I have had to deal with. The guy is a jerk.

Probably will shop around prior to Homeowners renewal.

Have had them on house since 1988 and claims have went really smooth.

I've had Farm Bureau insurance since 1981. They are typically a bit more expensive than others but easy to deal with. Never had them question a claim, including a fatality in one of my vehicles. I wasn't in the vehicle and all they asked was if the driver had my permission to be driving it.

I’m an insurance adjuster and deal with lots of contractors. Farm Bureau is still a good company that pays claims. Never heard a contractor complain about them. Now Allstate, State Farm, Liberty Mutual and some others I heard the horror stories all the time.

I’ve been with them for 15 years, recently added my wife to their health insurance plan. Save $700 a month compared to my employer plan.

Have had three claims with farm bureau over the years and each was handled quickly and easily. Our premiums have increased significantly but pretty sure that’s true for everything. Paying roughly $500 a month for 3 vehicles and a farm/house policy.

Excellent company, I have had them a couple times. The last time was two years ago.
They came in with the best deal and I gave them all of my insurance.

Then they raised the homeowners quite a bit and I was getting quotes in the mail.
Farmer's beat them by $800 annually on the Homeowner's so I gave it all to them.
For now.

I have everything with them except my tractor. I stayed with KTAC even after my Kubota was paid off. KTAC is great and covers almost anything that can happen to your machine unlike many other insurances.

That's the only thing I had with them (Texas Farm) for the past 4 years is The Mahindra Tractor. TFB Cat came by yesterday and the Quote beat the State Farm deal by almost $1400 bucks per year. $3900 and change for State Farm. (Insured for $625,000) Same coverage Apples to Apples all the way down the line. Only thing is they (Texas Farm Bureau) went to the 2% deductible instead of the 1% with State Farm. Full replacement on the Standing Seam Roof if dented by Hail. He said they don't offer the Cosmetic Coverage a lot of them try to stick you with. If dented by hail,, you live with it if not leaking. That would look like chit. Vehicle Coverage was about the same. Will know today about the RV. Had everything Insured with State Farm and have for the last 30 years never a Claim. . I never questioned them, just paid the bill in one payment yearly.

I was with Texas Farm Bureau for several years. Year before last, they raised my rates significantly & I had never made a claim! I contacted Hud & saved a grand & got better coverage. YMMV

I've used then exclusively for home/auto/life for 20 years, they pay like clockwork on claims and have been so easy to deal with for me.

I switched to them because of the rep on the THF. Guess I got lowballed and the premiums shot WAY up the second year.

.Imagine that's what they all do. I know Everything goes up,, Property Appraisals , big time. . Don't mind increase's but hammer jobs don't cut it. Gonna use somebody for a year then check rates. That's What I'm gonna do from now on. I guess staying with a Company and Loyalty don't mix. Built this House in 2018 ($425,000) , $2100 bucks first year.. Up every year. This year $3950 bucks. No claims.

I probably need to add a caveat . I am pleased with them in most aspects. Been with them 12 years or so with only a few auto claims which were trouble free. Hail damage on my 23 F150 went off without a hitch even when my body folks had to dispute the adjuster's original requirement of PDR on all surfaces. They agreed to new hood and new roof. I was pleased as the PDR guy said he couldn't get to all surfaces on the roof and hood.

I am somewhat disturbed at continually rising premiums but that is industry wide. TFB originally had phenomenal rates but have since come into line with others companies. I have price checked them several times. I stay with them because of their reputation of prompt service. Friends that had them post Hurricane Rita bragged about their promptness and coverage. My only real gripe is I must get a rider for my firearm collection.

Also note you'll probably get "introductory rates" if changing companies.
