Happy Birthday.

Listen to that song again and start living it. Wanting to go to Colorado this summer and trying to find a place to do an all day trip on horseback. 76 and don't feel it (except every now and then).

there used to be a couple of outfitters that did trips in off season, lake vallecito area east of durango.

I guided for this company way before the current owners got it, no idea what their day trips are but if they are still at the piedra crossing/hwy 160 the ride is pretty cool.

Age is only a matter of the mind. Do t let the old man in is for real.

I see patients all the time who are sedentary and say they should have never retired as getting old is terrible.
I see others who are active and productive (in some way) and feel their life still has meaning.

Keeping some meaning to life and being active in that meaning is key….keep it up “old”man…you are only as old as you think you are!

Oh I stay super busy. Run 15 miles a week, golf once a week, take care of our 25 acres, and wife and I travel somewhere once a month - heading to Durango and Telluride in June - plus 7 grandkids who live in same town we live in - life is good and I am blessed - (if I could only get my socks on in the mornings while standing up!)

Dick Van Dyke wrote a great book on aging. He's 98.
He says keep re-inventing yourself, keep busy and stay on the move.

If you ever sit down, yer done.

Will be 71 in September. When did I get this old?

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

go find the park, put your lawn chairs down and enjoy the jams outside the "ticketed" area. some of the best fun there is.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE
