That's awesome I put in for coues in NM rather than mule deer, hope to draw some day. Did you draw a tag during the rut?

Drew Unit 28 December 21-22, deer hunt, my second choice. Should be during the rut or close to it. There is pretty good deer out there but its pretty dang remote. Its tough with the short season since it takes a few days just to learn the country and get into deer. Its not hunted near as hard as the surrounding units.

Unit 34 Elk bull rifle tags go for $12k all day in NM.
