That's different. It's a little odd in that I would normally associate this sort of arrangement in connection with trying to eliminate or greatly reduce the audio impact. What do they do for target replacement/retrieval?

Similar concept used all across Switzerland. They shoot over the road a lot of the time.

Bandera range has those I believe to keep you from shooting into the neighbor's property.

Theres one similar outa Ben Wheeler. I dont like shooting out of it at all. The one there has the hole blocked off somewhat at the entry end and makes it difficult to get the height right on your rest.
The concept keeps errant shots from going in an unsafe direction. Target retrieval is normal. The pipe only goes a short ways so you just go around to deal with targets.
The one there has no road associated with it.

Don't have to worry about the wind.

Bass Pro GV has a tube. Good for emergencies right before a hunt. Or nasty weather and you just have to shoot to keep your head right.

How long is it ?

Bass Pro is 100 yards, if it’s open. They have had lots of trouble with it: shooters hitting the target retrieval mechanism, flooding during storms, etc. and has been closed many times, some lengthy, for repairs.

Reminds me of Elm Fork, no tubes but forces you to shoot through a hole to stay on your target.

Isn't the range over by Lake Lavon have a similar set up? Have to shoot through tunnels.

Can't exactly shoot at coke cans with your pistol.
