I’ve heard this may take more than one firing to be fully formed. Should I neck size only after the first firing?

I did find the correct bushing for the SAC die to switch it from standard 7-08 to 7-08 AI. $35 and I can switch them back and forth. This die is about to pay for itself.

Am I correct in thinking I can use my regular seating die with some adjustments?

I hate doing it, but it is best to neck size only, after the first firing. But know, you will have some brass that's stubborn to get chambered. Get ugly with the bolt handle and make it cam over. Then shoot the second firing.

7mm-08 Rem seating die will seat 7mm-08 Ackley Improved brass just fine.
