Wife is doing her semi-annual movie today, matinee feature of Abigail. Same guys that did Ready or Not, 85% on Rotten Toomatoes....Should be a good time.

Ese, sure do like me a true Texas story featuring Houston's own Dennis Quaid. Jay Hernandez is his, The Rookie running bud and in it too. Wasn't aware of the story but am now thanks to Wiki. At first thought the course they ran was one of the goat ranches I played growing up, Beeville CC, Sinton golf course, Alice golf course or LE Ramey in Kingsville but sounds like it was out near Del Rio....Report back on how the movie is please...

Never heard the story either, I ran across the movie on social media from the (smack that chet) guy. It's seems like a pretty small budget film so we'll see how it goes.

My buddy and I were talking golf, and he mentioned he had a friend in Del Rio that was a good golfer and we got to thinkil abou how horrible it would be to only have one golf course to choose from.

I was the stand in for Joe the dad in Seven Days. The guy working for me at the time was Lucas Black’s stand in. Interesting experience.

It's a pretty good movie, it's definitely worth a watch. The only zonk I would give it is the whole dinner situation. Other then that it's a pretty solid movie. A solid 85.
