In search of a venue in Dallas proper.

Needs to hold at least 400 people.

Even will be in October/November ish.

If anyone knows a place, gimme a holler.

What type of function? What is your budget?
I can think of several hotels that could do it.
If there needs to be food who is going to handle that?

Just about any large 4-star hotel can accommodate that many people. Anatole, Sheraton Downtown, Marriott Downtown, Renaissance, Adolphus, Hyatt Regency, Omni Convention Center, Fairmont, Hilton at Lincoln Center, Westin Downtown all come to mind.

I have a connection at both Omni Dallas and Omni Frisco that can take care of you. Send me a message if interested.

In Dallas proper.. you're going to be limited to the big hotels like Gringo suggested. If you need a weekend date, you'll have to get on the stick. I'm sure being just 6 months out most are booked already. One other option would be the Dallas Museum of Art. I know they can do large events, but 600 may exceeded their floor space.

To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.

Another is the Bush Library (at SMU) though I don't know if it'll support 600. I've been for private events with, conservatively, several hundred.

You should have booked a place a year ago. You’re late to the “party” and will struggle finding any decent venue. Good luck.

Another place, not Dallas proper, but new and pretty nice….Boyd Farm in Wylie. Been there twice. Maybe too far though.
