I use 150qt cooler as my tool box
Fire Extinguisher
tool set
tire plugs
air compressor
AC duct zip ties
Kinetic ropes
100mph tape
chain
bolt cutters
hand saw
2 5/16 ball/hitch
2 liters of water
kroil and wd40 lithium
straps
jumper cables

winter time I add tire chains

in truck-
leather gloves, water filter, fleece jacket, head lamp, knife, ammo, fleece blanket
batteries, electric jumper

This is one of my favorites. Also serves as a backup phone etc charger.

Those little electric chainsaws are super handy. This reminds me I need to pick one up.

I do carry a set of loppers under the back seat.

I don’t carry the battery jumper because driving a diesel it has been my experience they don’t work. Maybe they make one now that will

They have ratings for what they will start. Have been along on equipment auctions where a battery pack on one charge was used to start half a dozen pickups a tractor, front end loader, and 4-5 diesel school buses.

Yep. I bought the NOCO Boost 4250 amp rated for 8 L diesel's. Expensive but works great.

I’ve got enough chit in all my trucks I can weld it, braze it, wire it, deglaze it, bolt it, chew it, shoot it, glue it, flux it, solder it, dewater it, convert it, bleed it, pump it n dump it and to finish it off I’m covered to kick it, lick it n stick it as well. Pretty much if that [censored] not in my truck somewhere odds are you really didn’t need it. I’ve got everything but a rape whistle and that’s simply due to the fact Judd borrowed it and didn’t return it.

WD40
Duct tape
electrical tape
bailing wire
folding saw
hachet
machete
zip ties (regular and heavy duty)
3 or 4 different knives (including filet knife)
collapsible fishing rod and tackle
assorted straps, ropes, and bungees
simple tool set
jumper cables
heavy tow strap
d-rings for towing
head lamps and regular flash lights
2 freeze dried meals
2 lighters
survival blanket or tarp
1st aid kit

I'm probably missing an item or two, but those are the items that live in my truck.

If you don't have a flatbed truck and a triangle toolbox you are driving your wife's car.

Today I saw a woman trimming loads on a logging job. Only woman I’ve ever seen doing that job. Yep you guessed it. She was using the only electric chain saw I’ve seen used for real work. Said it takes HER three battery packs to trim 12 loads in a day. Considering that eye witness account today as verification. An electric chain saw is grounds to have your man card revoked.

Ratchet straps
Tow straps
cooler full of cold ones
Bailing wire

You could survive the apocalypse easily.
The only problem is keeping all that crap organized hammer

I guess when a man can’t get his gas chain saw started then his man card should be shredded. If so, there’s a lot of folks with no man card anymore.

Sitting here reading this I am wondering if these loaded down trucks are the results of:

A. Being prepared for a divorce because of being at the deer camp too much

B. Prepared for a bug out because of the way things are going in our nation

C. To lazy to carry thing back to were they belong after coming back from the deer camp

D. You have become a mobile hoarder.

Sorry if I have offended anyone but this is being posted after having a couple of Buffalo Trace cocktails.

Mine is strictly built on a "things I might need on a daily basis" criteria. I do not want to carry a single pound over what's necessary. Thats why i don't have a heavy toolbox full of stuff I might use once every decade.

Mine are the result of being in bad situations. If you’ve never been a human carburetor for a boat motor by pouring gas straight into the top of it from a beer can then you might not understand.
