We have seen the extent of chinas arms thru the war in ukraine. They have nothing that will top the israeli military, its just a matter of attrition for israel. If they are attacked on “all” fronts, it could hurt them but they will really hurt every one else. In a situation like that, the US would likely get pulled in to hit iran too.

China, like iran, likes to bluff their capabilities. They dont have the goods, because if they did, russia would have annihilated Ukraine by now.

The problem with totalitarian regimes like iran, is they can lose big time in this, and still “save face” for majority of their population. The ones who would know better will be imprisoned and killed by the morality police that have already been deployed across iran. Suppress the truth and that saves face.
