Can anyone attest to the old horny toad legend?

Is it true? or just a tall tale?

31 years is a long time to be by yourself.

Hoping some Eastland guys can weigh in.

My aunt and uncle had the Corner Drug in Eastland for many years and that was where I grew up. Everyone swore the story was true

My grandparents were originally from Eastland and I can remember reading the newspaper article about Ol' RIP that my grandmother had in a scrapbook. Whether it is true or not, I do not know, but it was reported in the local newspaper.
