Wow, what a great series! My wife and I finished it last night. We loved every episode. It’s crazy how those WW2 bomber crews flew over enemy territory with the amount of enemy fire and lack of air support. I highly recommend watching it!

Wife and I watched it as well. Really enjoyed the show and didn't know we had bombing runs long before D-day.

Wish it wasn't $$ steaming Apple TV is like less that $10 per month. Get it for a few months. There's some interesting stuff including Greyhound. We loved the series.

There is also a documentary , narrated by Tom Hanks, " The Bloody One Hundredth " Watched it after the series , very good.

Great series. Really enjoyed it.
My wife's grandfather was a B-17 propeller mechanic stationed in the UK during WWII and would tell stories about the planes that made it back from the runs coming back and being so shot up, that he couldn't believe they were still flyable.
