“Planet Fitness' value dropped $400 million in five days after news that an Alaska gym banned a member for sharing a photo of a trans individual using the women's locker room. The stock's decline followed Planet Fitness' refusal to overturn its decision to ban Patricia Silva, who said her membership was revoked for violating the rules against photographing other gym users.

Silva photographed a male using the women's locker room. She said that the man had been shaving his face and told her he was "queer."

Silva, in a video posted to Facebook, said there was "a little girl sitting in the corner. She could have been [12 years old] … in a towel kind of freaked out."

Absolutely cant stand the tranny bathroom stuff, hate that they allowed this to happen. Planet Fitness is a huge part of my life as I will be in one about 270 days this year. I pay 25 a month and they are everywhere. In my travels The past three years I have been in over 20 states inc alaska and Canada. They are always where I end up!!! No boycott here, but I dont approve of the corporate decision!!

I understand the convenience, but Planet Fitness is a joke, especially within the fitness community. Surely this latest debacle drives that point home.

Nothing positive about the mixing of the sexes in that type of environment. I can remember going into the bathroom at the Stark Club up there in TX Lite. Some cute lil filly came out of a stall and asked what I had there. Really caught me off guard being a humble, innocent & naive young man and all. Her boyfriend had gone to Europe and ended up getting caught up in some internal strife in Somalia. She was needy.

Daddy would’ve been proud. Mom would’ve been aghast.

Went into Kroger last week at Campbell & Preston Rd.in Dallas, there was a 70ish year old man with a mustache and chin beard wearing a dress and high heels

Most people I know that use PF simply do it because they travel, and membership is cheap. Many visits are just to shower and move on.
I hope my daughters never have to see that crap.....more so I hope I am not there when it happens. I can't support them in prison.
