This is the scope that came with my Churchill Mauser, I know in its day back in the 60s in was a fairly well regarded scope but it doesn't really stack up to today's scopes. Does anyone collect this sort of thing? Otherwise I might throw it on a vintage .22 or something like that. It is a neat old example of scopes from that era though, I was looking at ads for it in old catalogs. I'm curious how the light feature works, I don't see anyway to engage it on this model. Was it always on, or did you loosen the battery compartment to turn it on and off? The 1/6 inch clicks are pretty interesting too, I guess that's some decent fine tuning there. Was that unusual back then, or when did 1/4 become more common? The reticle is a fine duplex.
