how the moon perfectly covers our view of the sun during a solar eclipse.

It is a coincidence, the moon in its orbit is in a perfect circle. It fluctuate in distance from the earth that's why last Eclipse was in a total eclipse. Plus every year the moon drifts further and further away from earth. Eventually we will lose the Moonand it fly off into space.

So, in other words, it was not by creative design that, given the size and mass of the Earth, Moon and Sun, as well as the distances between them, the Sun is covered so precisely by the Moon to an observer standing on the surface of the Earth during a total eclipse? The view as seen from the surface of the Earth is just a matter of pure coincidence.

The moon's orbit is elliptical, or eccentric, and as long as there is a magnetic field around the Earth, the moon will not fly off into space.
There was a total eclipse on the last one, just not here.
And yes, it is not by coincidence.

That is, unless you are a flat-earther, then you'll need to sell me on that concept.

So far this whole thread is a dumpster fire.

We will eventually lose the moon, it moves away slowly every day.

If we lost the moon, we would be in big trouble.

Lol, well be long gone by then, or the dying sun will probably engulf us by then.

It is sad to me when folks don't believe in God...

Sometimes when people choose to put themselves in a minority, it's not so much disbelief that drives them as it is denial.
