Wildflowers popping at our place...like they were when we looked at buying it 5 years ago. It's been a rough last few summers. Welcome to the western hill country/beginning west Texas.

I have received 6.75" in March alone, 11.8 since Jan 1st. I spent Saturday and Sunday mowing and weedeating the yard. Yesterday I spent 8 hours on the tractor mowing ranch roads and senderos. Still have about 8 hours more to go, but it has to dry up now after yesterday's afternoon rain. Grass is good, but lots of weeds.

No, rained in the wrong places to help the lake. I suspected that, it has a pretty small watershed.
