It happened in Dallas County, so they will get a slap on the wrist and no one will go to jail. It’s possible the league or Chief’s won’t suspend him. However, there is nothing stopping the victims from filing sizable civil lawsuits. Hopefully the victims cash in big time.

The victims need to call the Texas Hammer.

My understanding is that Rice was driving his Vette and one of his Hood Rats was driving the Lamborghini he leased.

Rice owns the Corvette that crashed and reportedly leases the Lamborghini involved.

I'm certainly not defeding the NFL, but that's absolutely wrong. NFL TV ratings are through the roof. Of the 30 most watched TV events in 2023, 28 were NFL games. Same goes for attendance. Average attendance in 2023 was right at ~70k, the highest in over 20 years. Stadiums are packed despite the fact that tickets, concessions, merch, and parking cost more than ever.

This is how these dudes go broke. Makes 1.6 million a year. 38 percent to tax. 5 percent to state income tax. 5 percent to agent.
800k don’t go that far with fancy cars, baby mommas, wrecked Lamborghinis and lawsuits.

I read that the Lambo leases for $1750 per day. He can't afford that very long. Also, the lawyer for the leasing company said he's been radio silent since reporting the crash. He also violated terms of the agreement when someone other than him was driving.

Just read this in the Dallas Morning News:

Kyle Coker, who represents The Classic Lifestyle, told The Dallas Morning News that Rice rented the black 2021 Lamborghini Urus from the company in March and was expected to have it until “sometime in June.” The Classic Lifestyle bills itself as a Dallas-based exotic and luxury car renter, with a lineup that includes multiple Rolls Royce, Lamborghini and Ferrari vehicles, among others.

Rice was the only one contractually allowed to drive the vehicle, Coker said. He added that Rice was renting the SUV for more than $10,000 a month.
