I love Bob Seger, love him. One of my favorites.

But turn the page isn’t his best work.

My vote goes for Metallica. They also did a great rendition of “Tuesdays gone”

Interesting. I never knew Waylon did a turn the page rendition. Bob did it best, with Metallica a close 2nd.

The Metallica version is embarrassing.

I am a big Waylon fan but I gotta give this one to Bob. It's his only good song.

Pass the gravy.

Bob Seger did it best, neither Waylon or the Metal Head were anywhere close!

1. Seger - the OG
2. Jennings - I'm not into country artists
3. Metallica - I like Metallica though not a groupie, they should try to erase their cover from history

Come on man.....No one is even close to the original. Bob Seger is the king and everyone else is the 1st loser. It was on his "Back in '72" album. I bought his "Night Moves" album when it came out in 76 and still have it. Mainstreet is my favorite song of his. It was the 2nd single from the album. No telling how many times I listened to it in my '70 El Camino that I bought just months before the album came out. Wish I still had it to.

It’s a generational thing.

Garage Inc. Came out in 97’ when many of were in our formative years. The children of the 70’s all prefer the Seger original.

I’ll be completely honest in saying I don’t like that song all that much, regardless of who is playing it. Bob Seger has so many better songs. Metallica’s cover of “ whiskey in the jar” blows every other song on the album out of the water.

So in all honesty we are arguing over a song that is mediocre even in its best form.

Bob Seger is a national treasure.

I have a neighbor who I argue with heatedly over who is the better artist, Seger or Springsteen. For me it’s Seger 100%. Springsteen is a good writer but in every other aspect he is way below Bob Seger.

Main Street and Night Moves can paint lyrical picture that can be readily visualized by those who have experienced a similar scene in their own lives. It takes a true talent to be able to produce that for their listeners.

Bob for the win on this one. Waylon does his thing. Don't believe I've ever listened to a Metalica tune.

The list of dos and do nots and rules to hold a Man Card is lengthy and even somewhat dynamic. Two items on the list are 1) don't use a straw in public and 2) don't say you like the sound of another man's voice. Both come across as very gay. Don't believe me? Imagine you're in a bar and another man approaches drinking from a straw and says he likes the sound of your voice. You'll no doubt think he's gay. Gays cannot have Man Cards. Unless it's a gay chick and she plays the roll of the man. She's the bull dyke.

Skip this one. And if you didn't follow my suggestion please don't think that represents Metallica. It does not. Well, maybe newer Metallica, but certainly not old Metallica.

I can`t stand Springfield and never cared for his music, no matter how many hits he has or how popular he is. I can`t even tell you one of his songs.

Guy has written a ton made popular by other artists. Manfred Mann's "Blinded by the light" was a Springsteen penned tune
