Had a great Easter with the family yesterday but sadly got some bad news at the end regarding my grandmother. I'm a young buck so I'm fortunate to still have my grandparents on both sides. One of my grandmothers has been battling lung cancer since last year and has been on some form of treatment that was not chemo, but it completely took her appetite away. She's lost all her weight and was starting to weigh the option of starting chemo this month but I guess last week the doctors told her the cancer was too advanced to even start the treatment. I'm glad she won't have to suffer the pain of chemo, but to hear that hit me pretty hard. I'm very close with her and the thought that yesterday will probably be my last Easter with her is weighing pretty heavy on me today. He has a plan and He knows best, but sometimes that plan may take you through sadness.

Cancer is a truly cruel disease. I have lost a couple of loved ones to lung cancer and it is absolutely brutal. May God bring comfort to her and to y'all.

That's tough. My grandmother practically raised me, and I learned many things from her that I still use today. Miss her dearly. I didn't have a chance to tell her as she died while I was overseas. Don't miss your chance. Wishing you all the best.

My wife is doing chemo as she has stage 4 liver cancer and it's a B. Legs like wet spaghetti. I'm not near as strong as I used to be and I wasn't Charles Atlas then. She's the most Christian person I've ever been around. Things like this makes me doubt lots of things. Prayers to you and yours.

Prayers up for you and your family. Cancer is no fun. Chemo is worse. Watched my Dad go thru it. After all that suffering for 16 months he went to heaven. I still don't know why he was taken so early. He was 57.
